Refunds and Returns Policy

In the case of a customer bringing an item bought at Golden Hare back, the following policy will come into place.

Unwanted goods must be returned in a fully re-saleable condition

W e will only take items back that:

  • Are faulty- this does not include items that have been broken since leaving the gallery
  • Are un wanted gifts
  • We will not take returns on earrings for hygiene reasons
  • We will not take back unwanted gifts that are broken
  • For all items paid for using a card there will be a non-refundable transaction fee, this is 5% of the total price of the item.
  • If the item is faulty a full refund will be given to the customer up to 30 days after the purchase date. Thereafter no refund will be given.
  • For items under £100 we will refund the value of the item minus the transaction fee in Golden Hare Vouchers.
  • For items over £100 we will refund the first £100 in vouchers then any additional cost will be refunded as cash/on the card, minus the 5% transaction fee for card payments.

Web Purchases:

Parcels are returned at your own cost, and we strongly recommend you obtain a free certificate of postage from the Post Office as we are responsible for your parcel only once it has been received by Golden Hare. Items lost in transit will not be treated as returned.

We are always very disappointed on the rare occasions our customers receive a faulty item. If you have identified the fault within 30 days of purchase, then you can return the item under our normal return procedure for exchange or refund. Make sure you let us know about the fault so we can make sure other items are not affected. W e will refund any postage on a faulty item, and ensure you are reimbursed for standard return postage on the item.
