In Pan's Garden
In 2011 Jennie set up In Pan’s Garden jewellery to enable her to work from home and raise her 2 children. After working as a model maker since the late nineties, she was able to transfer her skills to precious metal clay and began to develop a range of nature inspired jewellery, as commission pieces and to then to sell online.
Jennie is inspired by the natural world and uses real leaves, acorns, twigs and natural textures and gemstones to create her work.
PMC or silver clay is a wonderfully versatile material made from recycled silver. Once fired it becomes 99.9% pure silver, a higher silver content than sterling silver which is only 92.5%.
It is a treat to be able to make something beautiful out of silver that would otherwise go to waste.
